If you want to drive, park at Chongwenmen New World and then walk over~ ⭕The building looks very solemn, the hall inside is really spacious, and there are exquisite lacquer screens. It really feels different from other museums. There is a small service desk on the right hand side of the door where you can get the instruction booklet~ ⭕The exhibition is divided into two floors. The first floor displays the gifts exchanged by various countries in chronological order of national leaders. Most of them are very exquisite and meaningful; the second floor is part of some of the exchange gifts we sent out, all of which are made with national treasure-level skills, mainly cloisonné, porcelain and embroidery. The other large part is the gifts given to us by various countries divided by region. They are not as exquisite as those on the first floor, but they all have distinct regional characteristics~ I looked around for a long time on the first floor. Almost every piece is very artistic. ⚠️ There is an activity here where you scan the QR code in the display cabinet to check in. If you collect 15, you can go to the place where you just received the instructions to get a commemorative card. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it. Later, I asked but I was too lazy to come back to scan. Don’t miss it when you go there. Then you can go to the information desk on the left to get a stamp, just as a souvenir. The stamp is not exquisite [Doge][Doge] ⭕ Overall, I personally feel that Indonesian handicrafts are the most distinctive and exquisite. African wood carvings are also the absolute first choice for gifts. Arab countries are the most luxurious, with shiny gold or silver. On the contrary, the gifts from some old capitalist countries feel a bit ordinary, such as large vases, porcelain plates, team uniforms, watches, and statues of their own national leaders. Some also give picture albums. I am really impressed~ 🕰️It takes about an hour and a half to watch the whole thing. There are explanations at 10:00 am and 15:00 pm every day. It is recommended to make an appointment with the archives next to it for one day. ⚠️ Make an appointment in advance. The number of places is limited every day. When I made an appointment one day in advance, there were only three places. After entering the museum, I felt that there were no more than 200 people.
