Jingxi Xiaoxitian

$Beijing also has a Xiaoxitian and Leiyin Temple, and it is one of the first national protected scenic areas. Located in Shuitou Village, Dashiwo Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, Shijing Mountain is an important part of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, "Yunju Temple Stone Pagoda and Stone Sutra." $Shijing Mountain, originally called Baidai Mountain, is located two miles east of Yunju Temple. It was called Zhuolu Mountain in the Tang Dynasty and is commonly known as Xiaoxitian. This is the origin of the Fangshan Stone Sutra. In the "Nine Caves of Sutra Collection" on Shijing Mountain, there are 4,559 stone-carved Buddhist scriptures spanning more than a thousand years from the 12th year of the Sui Dynasty (605) to the Ming Dynasty, including 4,196 precious Sui and Tang stone scriptures. $In addition to the Sutra Collection Cave, there are also precious Tang pagodas and Sui and Tang stele inscriptions on Shijing Mountain. The sixth cave, Leiyin Cave, is open to the public. This cave is where Master Jingwan carved scriptures in the early days, with a total of 146 scriptures carved and inlaid around the cave walls. There are also four octagonal stone pillars in the cave, with 1,056 Buddha statues carved on them. In 1981, two Buddha relics were unearthed in Leiyin Cave. $Shijing Mountain is very close to Yunju Temple, but they belong to two different scenic areas. Compared with Yunju Temple, there are very few people on Shijing Mountain, making it a great place to visit for ancient relics and tranquility.
