Follow a local Beijinger to the People's Market West Alley.

📍Attraction address: People's Market West Alley, Jingshan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is located on the north side of Longfu Building, running north to south with a bend in the middle. It starts from Qianliang Hutong in the north and ends at Longfusi Street in the south, connecting with Tongzhong Hutong in the west. It is 299 meters long and 4 meters wide, with an asphalt road surface. 🚗Transportation: Shared bikes are convenient. 👍️Must-see attraction: People's Market West Alley, known as Xilangxia in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The path next to the temple was called "Langxia" in the past. In the third year of the Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty (1452), the Dalongfu Temple was built on the site of the Dongchongguo Temple of the Yuan Dynasty in Renshoufang, Zhongcheng. There was a passage in the west corridor of the temple, called Xilangxia, and the hutong was named after it. The name continued to be used after the Republic of China. In 1956, the People's Market was built on the site of Longfu Temple, and in 1965, the name was changed to People's Market West Alley during a place name reorganization. 🎟️Tickets: No reservation or ticket required. 💗Other tips: Recently, some paintings have appeared, which are very nice.
