Finally got a photo of the thousand-year-old ginkgo trees at Hongluo Temple. They're stunning!

💛 I've always thought that ginkgo trees in autumn have a sense of destiny. The falling leaves of the ash tree make me lament the fleeting nature of autumn, and the fallen leaves of the sycamore tree remind me of the saying "fallen leaves return to their roots." But only the ginkgo tree, whether on the branches or on the ground, maintains its brilliant color, as if to say that even in the face of death, it will live a brilliant life. The ginkgo tree's long lifespan gives it a sense of time, making it a perfect match for ancient buildings and temples. This is a sight you can't miss when enjoying autumn in Beijing. 💛 Although I had heard of the thousand-year-old ginkgo trees at Hongluo Temple, I only had the chance to see them this year. When I stepped into the courtyard in front of the Mahavira Hall, I was truly amazed. The thick, towering trunks and the golden, translucent leaves in the sunlight made me feel as if time had stopped, if not for the people moving around under the trees. 💛 Everyone loves beauty. When visiting Hongluo Temple in autumn, unless you can be the first to enter at 8:30 am, you'll need some skills to take photos without people in them. But if you find the right spot, some moments are worth waiting for: 1⃣️ There is a stone tablet with the words "Heaven Made a Pair" under the ginkgo tree on the left side of the Mahavira Hall. Most tourists take photos here, so they line up, making it easier to capture a wide shot (see photo 3). 📷 Difficulty level: 🌟🌟 2⃣️ Most people gather in front of the Mahavira Hall, but there are usually no people at the corners on either side of the hall, so you can stand by the railing and take photos from the side (see photo 6). 📷 Difficulty level: 🌟 3⃣️ The ginkgo tree on the left side of the hall's platform is more suitable for portrait photography than the one on the right. Standing by the water tank under the tree creates a very classical picture. Most people don't stay in this corner for long, so you can wait to take a photo (see photo 1). 📷 Difficulty level: 🌟🌟🌟 4⃣️ The bronze incense burner in the center of the platform and the golden ginkgo leaves are a perfect match, but since this is the most crowded area, you'll need patience to avoid people (see photos 4 and 12). 📷 Difficulty level: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5⃣️ If you're only interested in the scenery, it's relatively easy to raise your camera to capture the plaque, the crown of the ancient tree, or the details of the ginkgo leaves in a small scene. 📷 Difficulty level: 🌟 📌 Address: No. 2 Hongluo East Road, Huairou District.
