During the holiday season, there are people everywhere. We recommend a less crowded, niche, and downtown tourist route. Shijia Hutong Museum, located at No. 24 Shijia Hutong, Chaoyangmen Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing, is the first Hutong Museum in Beijing. 130 courtyards are restored in miniature, and you can hear more than 70 Hutong sounds such as "shocking boudoir" and "tiger stretcher". The full name is St. Joseph's Church, also known as Wangfujing Catholic Church and Baimiancao Church. It originally belonged to the Portuguese Jesuit Church. It is located at No. 74 Wangfujing Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was built in the 12th year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1655). It was destroyed three times during the reigns of Kangxi, Jiaqing, and Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the 30th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1904). It is the second church built by the Jesuits in Beijing after Nantang, and it is also one of the four Catholic churches in Beijing. The original site was the Taiyi Divine Altar in the Yuan Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, it was part of the old site of Hongqing Palace in the south of the city. It was originally named Dongyuan of the Imperial City, also known as "Little South City". It covers an area of nearly 10,000 square meters and is the place where the prince lives. In the early Qing Dynasty, it was the mansion of Prince Regent Dorgon. After the mansion was abolished, Emperor Kangxi ordered it to be rebuilt into the Mahagala Temple, which is one of the royal temples around the Forbidden City.
