Beijing's Pearl on the Water: Explore the natural beauty of Jinhai Lake.

Jinhai Lake Scenic Area is located on the northeast side of Pinggu District, Beijing. It is a scenic spot with Jinhai Lake as the main body, about 85 kilometers away from the center of Beijing. Jinhai Lake was originally a canyon that was fractured in the 1679 earthquake. After reconstruction, it has become the third largest reservoir in Beijing. The scenic area is famous for its wide waters and rich water entertainment activities, and is known as the "Little Beidaihe" in Beijing. Jinhai Lake Scenic Area is now a AAAA scenic spot with a water area of 6.5 square kilometers. It is the largest comprehensive water entertainment venue in Beijing. There are mountains on three sides, beautiful scenery, dozens of natural landscapes and cultural landscapes such as Lake Tower, Princess Jinhua Tomb, Wanghai Pavilion, and Sawtooth Cliff. Tourists can participate in more than 20 entertainment projects such as cruise ships, speedboats, self-driving boats, water motorcycles, water parasols, pedal boats, and duck boats.
