The existing buildings include the French Embassy, Austro-Hungarian Embassy, Belgian Embassy, Japanese Legation and Embassy, Italian Embassy, British Embassy, etc. The existing buildings are all preserved in their original state, maintaining the eclectic style popular in Europe and America in the early 20th century. They feature clear brick lines and pilasters, brick arches with external corridors, wooden corner purlin frames, and iron sheet sloping roofs. The Dongjiaominxiang embassy complex is the only remaining early 20th-century Western-style architectural complex in Beijing.
