The hustle and bustle of cars on Beijing's Second Ring Road meets French romance

Today, I started my business trip from Beijing Railway Station to Qinhuangdao, and I chose to stay at the Sofitel Beijing Hotel. The hotel's location is very good, just nine hundred meters walk across the overpass to reach Beijing Station, away from the noise around Beijing Station, and close to an international group hotel. I have been to Sofitel before, mainly for dining. This is my first stay, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the traffic on Beijing's Second Ring Road. The afternoon sun shines into the room, and having a cup of coffee is really comfortable. The bed in the room is super big and very comfortable. The bathroom has a separate shower and dry area. The oversized bathtub is perfect for a hot bath to relieve fatigue. There are several highlights in terms of service. First, the lady at check-in was very polite, the check-in process was smooth, and she introduced the basic facilities of the hotel. Second, I went for breakfast this morning, and I think it was the restaurant manager who greeted guests at the door, and also promptly addressed the needs of the guests inside. When a coffee machine was out of water, the manager saw me with a coffee cup and directly guided me to another coffee machine. What's more commendable is the hotel's buffet breakfast, with local Beijing snacks and a very rich variety of breakfast options, really allowing guests to taste the local specialties of Beijing at the hotel. Third, after I finished breakfast and returned to my room, my card was demagnetized. I found a lady cleaning on the 23rd floor, who was very polite to put down her work, confirmed my guest information, and then helped me open the door. The hotel offers great value for money, and I recommend it to everyone. I saw that there is also an outdoor area outside the buffet restaurant, with self-service beer and barbecue, which I will try after I return from my business trip.
