This budget hotel in Beijing offers such great value for money in the capital!

1. First of all... it's not fully renovated yet, the renovated part has new wooden decor which feels very Park Hyatt, although they upgraded me to a suite it was the part that hasn't been renovated yet, it's not exactly 'broken', but it is indeed very old. 2. The lounge is not bad, you can see Chang'an Street, and there is a noodle stall for dinner but overall it's just average. There's no surprise, and the taste isn't great. 3. As for the location, well, it's quite convenient if you want to visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City... If your main activities are in Chaoyang, especially along Line 1, then it's also okay, about three stations away from the World Trade Center, but going to Haidian does make one question their life choices. 4. The service staff are very attentive, the cleaning ladies are especially nice, meticulous and enthusiastic. The service attitude in the lounge and at the front desk is also excellent. 5. The breakfast is passable, the mutton soup was very satisfying to me. The guy was so enthusiastic it was amazing, he even helped me carry my noodles...
