Beijing's lesser-known scenic spot - Baima Temple, was previously inaccessible due to flood damage to the roads leading to the temple, but today I found the temple's architecture to be completely intact. Located in Yubai Village, Yanchi Town, Mentougou District, Beijing, it is an ancient Liao Dynasty town with a history of over 900 years. After being destroyed by fire, it was rebuilt in 2000. After 16 years of reconstruction, it was completed in 2016. The architecture within the Baima Temple is majestic and awe-inspiring, known for its unique style that stands out, earning it the reputation of being the most magical temple in Western Beijing. However, once inside the temple, it feels solemn and serene, which is quite different from the 'magical' image I had in mind.
