Tongzhou Grand Canal Forest Park is truly a well-deserved treasure park. As the northern starting point of the Grand Canal, this place carries a rich civilization. The park is located on both sides of the North Canal in Beijing's Tongzhou New City, with a total construction area of ​​713 hectares (about 10,700 acres), of which the water area is about 2,500 acres and the green area is about 8,200 acres. The other several wharves only offer sightseeing boat tours. If you want to take a cruise at Caoyun Wharf, you can navigate to the parking lot of Grand Canal Forest Park (East Gate 2). Caoyun Wharf is not far from East Gate 2, and you can rent a boat directly at the wharf. In spring, the breeze is gentle and the flowers are in full bloom.
