AlUla – The Miracle Oasis of the Arabian Peninsula. AlUla, the miracle oasis on the Arabian Peninsula, is located 1100 kilometers away from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. As early as 200,000 years ago during the Paleolithic age, humans had already settled on this land, leaving behind a rich cultural heritage. The special exhibition 'AlUla – The Miracle Oasis of the Arabian Peninsula' is a collaboration between the Royal Commission for AlUla of Saudi Arabia and the Forbidden City Museum, with significant support from the French Agency for AlUla Development. The exhibition showcases over 230 precious artifacts, including pottery, stone carvings, and bronzeware, revealing the magnificent desert river valley oasis landscape of AlUla and its prosperous and long-standing historical culture. The exhibition is divided into four parts: 'From the Prehistoric Period to the Bronze Age', 'The Kingdoms of Northern Arabian Peninsula', 'Script and Language', and 'Modern AlUla'. Through these sections, we can clearly see the developmental journey and cultural context of AlUla.
