The autumn scenery here is a must-see

Although it's not a sunny day, the Mutianyu Great Wall is more majestic against the vast background. The forests are dyed in red, yellow, and green, which is even more timely than the nearby Hongluo Temple, Shengquan Mountain, and the further away Labagoumen Wucai Qianshan. The route is quite simple, the parking lot costs 20 a day, and you can buy a ticket for the cable car. To save energy, you can take the cable car up to the 14th tower, walk to the 6th tower and take the cable car or slide down the mountain, or you can do the opposite, take the cable car up the mountain from the 6th tower, and take the cable car down the mountain from the 14th tower. Because the most beautiful scenery of Mutianyu is in between, the two ends are either a bit too green or the leaves are scarce, and the middle section is just right. This way, you won't feel tired, and the whole journey is quite friendly.
