Since it was lunchtime on a weekday, there were hardly any people. But the midday light was too harsh and the facade didn't look very good, the church is not big and half an hour was enough to take photos. ✅Photography Suggestions: If you want to take photos of the stained glass, be sure to catch it in the winter afternoon around 15:00-16:00, the light is bright but not harsh, it's very photogenic inside the dim church. ✅Introduction to Xishiku Church Xishiku Church is the largest Catholic church in Beijing, also known as the North Church. It was first built in the 42nd year of Kangxi (1703) on the west bank of Zhongnanhai Canchi, named the 'Savior' Church, built by Emperor Kangxi, and personally inscribed the plaque 'The Origin of Everything' and a long couplet. In the 13th year of Guangxu (1887), it was relocated here.
