One of the hardest places to book in Beijing is the Xihuang Temple

Xihuang Temple Introduction: Xihuang Temple was built in the ninth year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1652 AD) to receive the religious and political leader of Tibet, the Fifth Awang Losang Gyatso. Later, in the forty-fifth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1780 AD), Xihuang Temple became the place where the Sixth Panchen Lama preached. The Sixth Panchen Lama finally passed away at Xihuang Temple due to illness. In the forty-seventh year of Qianlong (1782 AD), Qianlong built the Sixth Panchen Lama's robe tower in Xihuang Temple to commemorate the Sixth Panchen Lama, called the Tower of Pure Land. The Tower of Pure Land is a clever architecture that integrates the styles of Han, Tibetan and Indian Buddhism with the main body of Tibetan Buddhist pagoda, using the traditional archway and patterns of the Han nationality as a foil, and the small pagoda built at the four corners of the Indian-style big pagoda as a tomb tune. Xihuang Temple reservation time: Book the visit time for the next week at zero o'clock every Saturday. Number of visitors and opening hours: Open every Saturday and Sunday.
