It doesn’t matter, Sichuan’s rich tourism resources are enough for you to travel for N weekends. I would like to recommend a super beautiful place to everyone - Jiuhuang Mountain. Here, we spent an unforgettable two days and one night, not only seeing the magnificence of nature but also feeling the unique charm of the local Qiang culture. 🚗How to get there We started from Chengdu and chose a self-driving tour to Jiuhuang Mountain. The road condition from Chengdu to Jiuhuang Mountain is in good condition, and the self-driving time is about 3 hours. Departing in the morning, we randomly found a place to have lunch on the way, and then continued driving to Jiuhuang Mountain, arriving at about 2 p.m. After checking in, we participated in the Salang Carnival Night at Xiqiang Square in the evening. It was really fun and unique. Welcome toast dance + opening ceremony + Qiang specialty dance performance + trendy Qiang Di + on-site lottery + Qiang games + Eating roasted lamb + tasting wine is quite an experience and participatory experience, so don’t miss it~ We were lucky enough to see a Qiang wedding performance at noon the next day, which was full of ceremony! About tourist attractions The main attractions in the scenic area include Qiangjia Zipline/Cloud Walking, Rainbow Slide, and Mountain Off-Road Vehicle. If your physical strength allows, you might as well try it out. Especially walking on the bridge spanning two cliffs makes your heart beat faster as if you are in the clouds. And the moment you rippled out from the cliff, it seemed like the whole world was at your feet. About food~ In fact, there are many local specialties in restaurants at the foot of Jiuhuang Mountain. Smoked bacon, sausages, and baked potatoes are more suitable for my taste. You can bring some cooked food according to your own preferences to satisfy your cravings at night on the road~ Plan to go for a walk around every month and continue to have something to look forward to in life!
