Bath Abbey

#europetrip Magnificent abbey with an impressive fan vaulted ceiling, beautiful stained glass windows and a tremendous organ. Well worth a look inside, with a well presented exhibition charting the site's history. When I visited, tickets were £7.50, which seemed like good value compared to similar buildings in other popular cities, particularly considering the exhibition of historic artefacts. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing time, so make sure to check these before your visit to avoid missing out. There's a well stocked gift shop inside the abbey if you want to take home a souvenir. Well maintained toilet facilities in the basement.
