Sichuan Ganzi. Cuopu Valley | A hidden paradise.

🎈Cuopu Valley is a tourist destination integrating natural scenery, cultural landscape and ecological environment. It condenses the beauty of Sichuan-Tibet area, including snow mountains, grasslands, forests, lakes and temples. Cuopu Lake in Cuopu Valley is known as "the first holy lake of Kham", and it is a holy place for niche tourism! 🌼Entrance ticket: Self-driving: 138 yuan/person; Ticket + sightseeing bus: 140 yuan/person 🌼Introduction to the scenic spot: 1️⃣Cuopu Valley is located in Batang County, one and a half hours away from the county seat. It is one of the few 4A-level scenic spots that can be accessed by self-driving. 2️⃣It condenses the beauty of Sichuan-Tibet area, including snow mountains, grasslands, forests, lakes and temples. Cuopu Lake in Cuopu Valley is known as "the first holy lake of Kham". 3️⃣Scenic route: Yaso Temple - Hot Spring (ticket check at the entrance) - Heiganglin - Ancient Watchtower - Hada Waterfall (no sign seen, should be the multiple small waterfalls along the road) - Small Grassland Glacier Landscape (not seen) - Zhangde Grassland - Mandala - Cuopu Lake (including four viewing platforms) - Two small lakes (similar to Small Jiuzhaigou) - Cuopu Temple. 🌼Hiking time: We parked our car at the parking lot of No. 1 Viewing Platform, walked around Cuopu Lake, and took photos. The round trip took nearly three hours. If we were lucky, we could meet the sightseeing bus at the Cuopu Temple stop on the way back. The kind driver would also take us to the parking lot for free, which could save us half an hour. 🌼Self-driving road conditions: There are a few sections of road between the visitor center and the entrance of the scenic spot that are in poor condition, with a few shell craters. Cars should drive carefully. The road conditions inside the scenic spot are very good. The advantage of self-driving is that you can stop and go as you please, and you can stop and take photos when you see beautiful scenery. Several of my photos are from the scenery along the road. 🌟🌟Travel guide 1️⃣After changing at Haimen Stone, the sightseeing bus will take everyone to the "Cuopu Temple Stop" (touring from the innermost part of the scenic spot outwards). First visit Cuopu Temple, then walk 2.5KM along the lakeside boardwalk, and return to the "Cuopu Lake Parking Point" to take the bus back. 2️⃣Recommended way of touring👇 ✨Tell the staff that you want to get off at the "Cuopu Lake Parking Point", then walk towards the lake, don't go to Cuopu Temple. ✨For those with no physical strength, walk to No. 1 and No. 2 Viewing Platforms, take photos, and turn around and return the same way. ✨For those with a little physical strength, walk to No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 Viewing Platforms, and then turn around and return. This covers the essence of the scenic spot. 3️⃣ If you really want to visit the temple, you can take the sightseeing bus to Cuopu Temple and get off. First visit Cuopu Temple - then visit the two small lakes (two embraced lakes) - then take photos by the Cuopu Lake - then immediately turn around and go to the "Kangzhu Embraced Lake Stop" to wait for the bus back to Haimen Stone. 🔶Tips: 1. The scenic spot has a daily quota for self-driving vehicles. You need to make an appointment in advance by phone, so you don't need to buy a sightseeing bus ticket. 2. If your physical strength and time permit, you can walk around the lake along the lakeside boardwalk to see the snow mountains and lakes from different angles. 3. The round trip transportation time to the scenic spot is about 2 hours, and the total tour time is about 5 hours. 4. The scenic spot is located at a high altitude. It is recommended to walk slowly and pay attention to keeping warm and windproof. 5. The tour time in the scenic spot is long, so it is recommended to bring some food to replenish your energy.
