Barcelona Opera Theatre+tip for cheap tickets

👉Located in the heart of 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮, its most famous street 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘀, Liceu is the Opera Theatre where internationally recognized opera shows take the stage. 👫We went there to watch the preview of 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮, by 𝘝𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘻𝘰 𝘉𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘪, a classical opera show, that premiered back in 1831 in Milano, Italy. 🗓 They have a rotating schedule of different opera shows and the prices vary depending on the seating area as well as the opera, but they are not cheap, ranging from 💶 50 euros all the way up to 300+ euros for the best locations. 🔊However, for those of you lucky enough to be under 35 years old, there is a trick to get cheaper tickets...keep reading for more info on this 📍𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨: 𝙇𝙖 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙖, 𝟓𝟏-𝟓𝟗, 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙖. Take metro Line 3 to the stop "Liceu" go upstairs and it is right there in front of you. 🎭 The building itself is quite impressive, way more beautiful in the inside than the outside. Worth a visit is the "𝗦𝗮𝗹ó𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗷𝗼𝘀" (𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹) 🪞 this is usually the place where people hang out during the halftime of the opera show - yes operas are pretty long, about 3 hours total. And, actually, this is one of the few spaces of the original construction that survived (almost intact) a fire that almost destroyed 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘂 in 1994 🔥 Nowadays is restored but one can still imagine the old-days of chatting and mingling in this room. And now, how can you watch an opera show here while not paying an exorbitant price⁉️If you are under 35 years old, 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘂 has a program named #liceunder35 where tickets are 💰 30 euros for no matter which area you pick your seat. On top of that, they also organize 🎧 DJ sets in a private terrace overlooking Barcelona's rooftops after the show. 🙌🏻We haven't been to one of these yet, but we will love to try it one day!
