Wudang Zhao Monastery in Baotou 📍A secluded temple hidden deep in the vast grasslands. Wudang Zhao Monastery is nestled deep within the rolling Daqing Mountains of Baotou. The white buildings are built layer upon layer against the mountainside, surrounded by peaks and shaded by lush green pines and cypresses, creating a magnificent and awe-inspiring sight. ⭐️Wudang Zhao Monastery in Baotou is one of the four most famous Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in China. It is as famous as the Potala Palace in Tibet and the Ta'er Monastery in Qinghai, and is known as the "Little Potala Palace on the Grassland." Originally built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi, it now houses six main halls and a complex of stupas. Characterized by Tibetan-style white walls and dark-colored window corridors, it houses over 15,000 Buddha statues and precious Thangkas. The bronze statue of Sakyamuni inside the temple is 10 meters high, and the bronze statue of Tsongkhapa is 9 meters high, both of which are of extremely high cultural value. The scenic area is suitable for visiting all year round. You can enjoy mountain flowers in spring, red leaves in autumn, and the unique tranquility of the snow scene in winter.
