Baoji East Lake Park.

East Lake Park is located in Fengxiang District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. It was known as "Yinfeng Pond" in ancient times and has a history of over 940 years. East Lake is a city park that combines natural beauty with rich historical and cultural heritage. The park covers an area of about 20 hectares, with a water surface of 12 hectares and more than 30 ancient buildings. The famous writer Su Shi served as the signing officer of Fengxiang Prefecture. In the seventh year of Jiayou (1062), he advocated for the dredging and expansion of the pond by officials and citizens, introducing water from the Phoenix Spring in the northwest of the city, planting lotuses and willows, building pavilions and bridges, and constructing buildings and pavilions. Due to the distant view of East Lake in Fengxiang and West Lake in Hangzhou, East Lake and West Lake are known as "sister lakes." This reputation stems from Su Shi's inspiration from West Lake in Hangzhou during the construction of East Lake. A poem says, "East Lake temporarily lets West Lake be beautiful, but West Lake knows that East Lake came first."
