Baoding Botanical Garden is worth a trip if you need a break from the bustling city, and a breath of fresh air. It is a huge green space, a haven amidst the skyscrapers, with statues, lakes and even a small fair park to enjoy. Lots of places to sit and eat a picnic, and escape that summer sunshine in the shade of the forests.
