Come and follow my steps! 📍Starting point: Zhili Governor-General's Office As a landmark historical building in Baoding, the Zhili Governor's Office has an unshakable position. As soon as you step in here, it feels like you have traveled back to the Qing Dynasty. The red walls and bluestone roads, every corner exudes a heavy atmosphere of history. Wandering through the exhibition rooms, you can learn about the stories of successive governors and feel the turbulent times. It seems as if you can hear the discussions in the court and the shouts of the yamen runners. The stone lions at the door are majestic and have witnessed a century of vicissitudes.
