Benjakitti Forest Park

Benjakitti Forest Park is about 72 hectares in size. The land where the park is, was formally owned by the Tobacco Authority of Thailand. The main entrance of the park spots a big pond. On two occasions, I spotted monitor lizards in that pond! At the far end of the pond is the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre the venue for APEC 2022 in September 2022. There's even a hospital within the park (near the secondary entrance/exit from Klong Toei road). The latest enhancement includes the Sky Walk (Elevated Walkway), which is the star attraction! Thousands throng the park daily during the morning and evenings. It gets very crowded during the weekends. There are clearly demarcated jogging and cycling tracks. It is linked to Lumphini Park by a 1.3 km long elevated pedestrian walkway.
