The Sukhothai Bangkok. Named after the Siamese capital "Sukhothai," this hotel was designed by architects Kerry Hill and Edward Tuttle, featuring white pavilions crafted from carefully selected stone, metal, and wood. Nestled in a quiet corner of the bustling city, the hotel is accessed via a long driveway, passing by the distinctly Thai-style Celadon restaurant before reaching the lobby. Through the lobby windows, guests can glimpse a red-brick stupa. In Sanskrit, "Sukhothai" means "Dawn of Happiness." The hotel's logo is a stupa composed of 22 marquise-cut diamonds, symbolizing unity while each diamond remains distinct—representing the dedicated roles of the hotel staff. Inspired by Thailand's ancient capital, Sukhothai, the design blends traditional Thai elegance with modern minimalism, incorporating temple stupas and lotus ponds.
