On a 5-night, 6-day solo female trip to Bangkok, I had a lot of fun, from visiting local markets to magnificent temples and visiting cute cafes! 📍Spots visited Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha) Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) Royal Palace & Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) Wat Pak Nam (Giant Pagoda and Instagrammable Emerald Room) └※As of the end of May 2025: Buddha statue is under construction Shopping mall tour @ Terminal 21 / MSphere / Emporium Ayutthaya ruins (access by train / take a tuk-tuk tour of the ruins on site) Healthland Spa & Massage (Thai-style foot massage ◎) Chatuchak Market (weekends only / local goods and souvenirs) Park Khlong Flower Market Khao San Road 🚃Transportation BTS / MRT (convenient for moving around the city) Bolt app (safe for nighttime and suburban travel) Ayutthaya is about 1.5 hours one way by train (early morning departure is best) 💡Tips ・Temple tours are best in the cool morning! Drinks and a parasol are essential 🥵 ・Clothes should be worn with minimal skin exposure (a stole or something to wear for the temple is recommended) ・Weekdays are quiet and comfortable for shopping ・Be careful, temples and local shops only accept cash 💵 ・If you use an eSIM, you can safely research local items!
