Wat Ratchaprathit Sathitmahasimaram is a first-class royal temple located in Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok. This temple covers an area of only 2 rai. It was built by King Rama IV according to the ancient tradition from Ayutthaya, which means that in the capital, there must be three important temples: Wat Mahathat, Wat Ratchaburana, and Wat Rat Praditthan. It is dedicated to the monks of the Thammayut sect. In the temple, there is Phra Phuttha Sihing Patimakorn, the principal Buddha image, which King Rama IV modeled from the real Phra Phuttha Sihing at Phra Thinang Phutthaisawan. #VisitHistoricalSite #VisitHistoricalSite
