Nestled beside the historic Nai Lert Park, the hotel is set amidst seven acres of lush greenery. This is Aman Group’s 36th hotel in the world and its first city resort in Southeast Asia. ♦ The hotel was designed by legendary architect Jean-Michel Gathy. The main building of the hotel cleverly combines Thai traditions with colonial European style, vividly showing the lifestyle of Bangkok's elite class a hundred years ago. The overall design continues Aman's consistent simplicity and elegance. ♦ Amannaras includes 52 suites, a 1,500-square-meter Aman Spa and Wellness Center and several specialty dining venues. The hotel lobby is located on the 9th floor of the building. In the center of the courtyard stands a 12-meter-high tree sculpture created in collaboration with a Thai artist. The 6,000 gold leaves on this tree sculpture, which transition from gold to black in color, fall quietly among the layered shadows.
