The Standard Hotel in Bangkok will open in May 2024 and become the third business location in Asia. It is located in the King Power Mahanakhon, the tallest building in Bangkok. The restaurant offers innovative Mexican cuisine. The hotel's 76th floor offers an excellent view overlooking Bangkok's vibrant city landscape. The chef has designed many creative presentations for the restaurant, such as the appetizers including avocado salad sauce with fried stingray, vegetable marinated tiger prawns, fresh coconut ceviche with tender coconut, fermented soybeans, coconut tiger skin milk with yellow pepper; and the very distinctive triangular corn bags filled with black fungus and mushrooms and seasoned with Mexican mole sauce. Main courses include chicken with green magic sauce, smoked fish with fried shallots, roasted lemon and slow-cooked ribs with sauce.
