The Oasis in Bangkok: A Review of The Tide Resort

One of the biggest highlights of our four-night, five-day trip to Bangkok was undoubtedly our stay at The Tide Resort. Located in the heart of Bangkok at Ratchawithi Soi 3, the hotel offers convenient access to transportation, being just a ten-minute walk from Victory Monument BTS Station. 🏙️ The hotel's location is excellent, with Victory Monument nearby and shopping centers like Platinum Fashion Mall and Siam Paragon just a few BTS stops away. It's also not far from the airport, easily accessible by a short walk from the airport rail link. The hotel boasts a clean and minimalist design, with an overall decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient, making for a very pleasant start to our stay. 👌 Our room overlooked Santipaab Park, allowing us to wake up to the sounds of birds chirping and the sight of squirrels leaping through the trees—a truly therapeutic experience. The room was well-equipped with standard amenities, including a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, private bathroom, bathrobes, and slippers. The spacious room provided ample space for two people. 🛌 The hotel also offers a range of facilities, including a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, and fitness center. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas, ensuring convenient internet access. The breakfast is highly recommended; while priced around THB 250, it offers a wide variety of delicious options. We also thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the hotel's swimming pool, a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. 🏊‍♂️ A wide array of amenities are within easy reach of the hotel, with convenience stores and local food stalls just a few minutes' walk away. For shopaholics, the nearby King Power duty-free shop and Siam shopping district are sure to satisfy any retail cravings. Not to mention, the surrounding area is teeming with small restaurants waiting to be explored, offering everything from authentic Thai cuisine to international flavors. 🍜 While the hotel has many advantages, there are a few minor drawbacks to note. For instance, the air conditioning in the room occasionally emitted a slight odor, and the windows couldn't be opened, resulting in less-than-ideal ventilation. Additionally, the streets surrounding the hotel, while not wide, experience heavy traffic, requiring extra caution when venturing out. Overall, The Tide Resort offers excellent value for money and is a highly recommended accommodation choice. With its prime location, attentive service, and comprehensive facilities, it's an ideal choice for travelers looking to explore the vibrant city of Bangkok. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Bangkok and continuing to enjoy the tranquility and warmth it offers. 🌟

The best trip of our life: The 10 days trip in Thailand was worth each minute spent as we covered temples, night markets, night life and the #beaches in Phuket - Phi phi island. One memorable part of the trip was to go to Grand Palace early morning. We were lucky to not have an entry fee on 23rd Oct as it was King’s Birthday (Happy Birthday King). Saved good amount for shopping later on. At the same time, the Island tour to Phi-Phi is unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience. Bangkok itineraries Attractions - Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, MBK centre (Shopping), lot of markets & night markets. Hotels - Sukhumvith area or Pratunam area is good location for stay. Le Tada Parkview Hotel in Rathachewi is good one we stayed at. Food & Restaurants - Kho san road street food or any street food vendors. Pratunam/Sukhumwit area if you want Indian vegetarian food. Shopping - A lot of options. Electronic in MBK center. Cloths, Bags etc - Indra Square, Platinum Fashion Mall, Siam Paragon. Above all Chatuchak weekend Market is the best and huge market for shopping (Open on Saturdays and Sundays only) #beachlife #summervacation #bucketlistreboot #travelinspiration #travelguide #bangkok #phuket
