"OVOID" An exhibition that invites us to explore the past, present and present of the present through the elliptical symbol that is more than art by Charanthan Thanachotepramat (Char. T) The exhibition is born from questioning the elliptical symbol that appeared in the artist's previous works. This simple shape hides a deep meaning. The artist discovered that it is not just an artistic shape, but also a representative of the past, deep love and unexplored subconsciousness. In order to understand the meaning behind it, the artist traveled to New York to seek advice from an art therapist, which led to a surprising discovery and an important turning point in the creative process. The OVOID exhibition explores the path of living in the present without clinging to the past. The elliptical symbol that appears in every work reflects the past that is gradually being replaced by the present. The artist's creations from 2014 to the present show a journey from external aesthetics to internal discovery, which has become an important inspiration for the latest works. The Evince 2023 collection is an important milestone that shows the fusion of both bright and dark experiences in life, leading to the creation of the OVOID collection that presents the idea that "humans should live in the present and make the most of every moment." To create lasting relationships and experiences” This exhibition presents a variety of works, including paintings, mixed media sculptures, and Projection Mapping works. The special thing about viewing Projection Mapping is the unique experience of viewing the exhibition. Visitors can lie on a cushion made from beans and let themselves be immersed in the Projection Mapping images on the ceiling, which are combined with abstract art, making viewing art a relaxing and profound experience. Another important highlight of the exhibition is “Art Tasting,” a food tasting experience designed by professional chefs, inspired by the artworks in the exhibition.
