If you're visiting Bangkok for the first time, a trip to the Grand Palace is a must to experience the culture of the Thai royal family. Transportation🚇: Take the Blue Line and get off at Sanam Chai Station, then walk about 1.2km from there. I visited on January 1st, and it was free to enter because of the New Year. Normally, the entrance fee is 500 baht. The entire Grand Palace is resplendent with gold, and you'll need about 1-2 hours to tour it. When entering the main hall, you must remove your shoes and enter barefoot. Inside, you can see golden robes (photography is prohibited inside). Restaurant🍽️: Phraborom Maharatchawang. It's a popular place, so there might be a line, but the food is very delicious!
