It comes from the custom of offering gratitude to the river goddess and floating lanterns (krathongs) down the river (loy) 🍀 It is held on the night of the full moon in November, so the date changes every year, so be sure to check 🖕 I floated the lanterns at Benjasiri Park 🕯️ There were a lot of stalls selling krathongs around the park at this time of year!
