[Bangkok/Thailand] Feeling Thai♪ Walking around the temple in gorgeous Thai clothes

This time, I'll write about my experience wearing nice Thai clothes and visiting the famous "Wat Arun" in Bangkok! This time, I decided to wear Thai clothes together to make some final memories with my friend who is returning to Japan! I didn't know much about Thai clothing rental shops, so my friend recommended one. ● "Baanwangdoem7 (บ้านวังเดิม 7 เช่าชุดไทย) Thai Costume rental service" My friend told me there was another shop he recommended, but this time I used this rental shop. It's a rental shop within a 5-minute walk from Wat Arun. The inside of the shop was smaller than I expected, and even though it was a weekday, the store was overflowing with customers. There were colorful Thai clothes hanging on hangers in the shop, and I had a hard time deciding what to wear, but I had already had a general idea of what to wear by searching for Thai clothes and checking Instagram, so it didn't take as long as I thought it would. There were a lot of people there, so it didn't seem like there was time to take my time to decide. I chose gold this time. As I walked around Wat Arun, I saw a lot of people wearing silver, and I thought it looked really nice, so I'd like to wear that next time if I have the chance! The menu prices per person are listed below. ↓Menu price per person --- Thai clothes + accessories: 300 baht (about 1,200 yen) Thai clothes + accessories + hair set: 350 baht (about 1,400 yen) Thai clothes + accessories + hair set + makeup: 650 baht (2,600 yen) *No deposit upon reservation --- My friend had used this shop before and made a reservation in advance. This time, after consulting with my friend, we chose the middle course, "Thai clothes + accessories + hair set"! It's such a good deal that you can get a hair set for +50 baht (about 200 yen)!! My friend said that she had done a lot of makeup before, so I decided to do my own makeup. I'm really surprised that I could have such a wonderful experience for about 1,400 yen. There was also Thai clothing for men, so it seems like couples could have fun too♪ We took turns trying on Thai clothing in the fitting room, but the fitting room was small!! The clothes were put in a bag and placed in the corner of the room. I had completely forgotten about it, but I wore regular underwear on the day, but Thai clothing is designed to expose one shoulder, so my underwear was visible. I thought I should have worn a tube top! But the lady who helped me try it on only took off one strap of my bra and tucked it inside, so it was fine. The other shoulder was covered with a thick sash, so it was no problem. After changing, the next step was to get my hair done. If you search for the store on Google Maps, you will see images of the actual hairstyle, so please use them as a reference (^^) You can choose from 10 different styles, from a to j. I chose f. There are both down and up styles, but since it was hot, I had my hair up. I thought it would take a long time, but the stylist was very efficient and it didn't take long! I didn't need to bring any rubber bands or pins. They also gave me the hair accessories shown in the photo. *Shoes and bags are not available for rental, so I recommend that you choose what matches your Thai clothes in advance and bring them with you. I brought gold high-heeled sandals and a small shoulder bag! *I asked if there were lockers at the store, and they said they didn't, so I think it's better not to bring too much luggage when wearing Thai clothes. (Other stores may have them.) You can leave the clothes you were wearing at the store. Once you're ready and excited, it's time to head to Wat Arun. It was very hot outside and I was exhausted, but I walked around the temple, took lots of great photos, and made some great memories. I'd like to try wearing Thai clothes in other colors! After returning the rental items, I was hungry, so I went straight to Iconsiam! It was hot and I got sunburned, but I don't often have the opportunity to wear Thai clothes, so it was a valuable experience. If you come to Bangkok, please try it! It's sure to be a wonderful memory ^^ I'll write more about Wat Arun at a later date. 📍"Baanwangdoem7 Thai Costume rental service" Opening hours: 08:00-18:00 Closed: None Instagram: @baanwangdoem7 #BangkokTrip2024 #100TravelStyles #bangkok #thailand #bangkok #thailand
