Pay homage to Luang Pho To at Wat Yang

🏞Wat Yang, a third-class royal monastery, was established in 1841. The name of the temple is said to come from a sacred Buddha image in the Mara Vichaya posture, carved from wood, named Luang Pho To. It floated and stopped at the riverfront of the temple. The villagers enshrined it in the temple, hence the name Wat Yang. Over time, the name evolved to Wat Yang.
