The important things in this temple are the four-direction prangs, which were made by craftsmen during the reign of King Rama III. The pedestal supports the principal Buddha image. The first thing to do is to pay respect to Phra Phuttha Thewawilas, or as the locals generally call him, Luang Pho Khao, the principal Buddha image inside the chapel. It is a Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, carved from pure white stone. The pedestal is enshrined in the Vejjana pedestal. The walls of the chapel are painted in the shape of a bundle of rice, in the style of King Rama III. It was built in 1836. This temple has a combination of Thai and Chinese architecture. When you arrive at Wat Thepthidaram, another important place that you can't miss is to pray for a blessing for your career at the 52 Bhikkhuni Shrine.
