Hotel Doubletree by Hilton Sukhumvit in the heart of Bangkok

We booked a room at the Doubletree by Hilton Sukhumvit for our anniversary celebration with my partner. This year, we chose the Doubletree by Hilton Sukhumvit, which is located in the heart of Phrom Phong. It's just a short walk to EmQuartier and Emporium. - A unique feature of the Doubletree by Hilton Sukhumvit is that they give out chocolate chip cookies with nuts during check-in. The cookies have a slightly salty taste to balance the sweetness of the chocolate. They were very well made, and we finished both pieces. - We mentioned during booking that we were celebrating our anniversary. When we entered the room, which was a 28-square-meter king-size bed room, the hotel had decorated it with towels and rose petals on the bed for the celebration. - The water system in the bathroom is excellent. You can get hot and cold water immediately without waiting. The floor in the room is cool marble, so it's best to wear the slippers provided by the hotel. However, the bathroom floor is warm stone, which keeps your feet from getting cold. This small detail shows their attention to detail. - The view from the window is of buildings and streets, and you can clearly see other nearby hotels. - All the pillows are soft, and there are four of them. From reviews, I learned that there used to be a mix of hard and soft pillows to choose from, so I'm not sure if the hotel's policy has changed. - At night, you can hear the footsteps of other guests in the hallway. - Breakfast is one of the few places that offers blue cheese, which tastes great. The food line is quite varied. Due to limited space, the food zones are arranged in a long straight line. They have noodles, rice porridge, Thai food, bread, and fruits. - The hotel is not very large and has three elevators. Only one elevator goes to the parking lot on the 3rd floor. So, if the wrong elevator comes, you have to wait for the right one. The staff gave us a tip: if the first elevator is the wrong one, press the button to send it to a higher floor. Do the same with the second wrong elevator. This way, you can eventually get the right elevator to the parking lot.
