Wat Pho, Bangkok

Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimolmangklararm Rajwaramahaviharn is a historically and culturally significant temple in Bangkok. It is located in the Tha Tien area, near the Grand Palace. Wat Pho is well-known for housing the large Reclining Buddha statue, which is 46 meters long and 15 meters high, making it one of the largest reclining Buddha statues in Thailand. The feet of the Reclining Buddha are decorated with 108 auspicious patterns inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Additionally, Wat Pho is a center for learning about traditional Thai medicine and Thai massage. Within the temple grounds, there are statues of hermit doctors, symbolizing Thai massage, and it also hosts a popular Thai massage school that attracts both locals and foreigners.
