An unparalleled experience at the Sukhothai Bangkok

The Sukhothai, with only two in the world, designed by Kerry Hill, showcases classic lines and corridors that reflect the beauty of space between light and shadow. After visiting, I found that besides the hotel being next to the city expressway, the experience was very good. I might still prefer a more retro display, including home decor. The combination of teak wood color with green is particularly appealing to me, especially the super beautiful corridor connecting the hotel lobby and breakfast area, which feels like walking into an endless green passage. The flowers, my favorite orchids🌹, touched me from the moment I entered the lobby. Passing through the corridor, you have to go through a lotus pond, and in the middle, there is a huge frangipani🌺 tree. The entire hotel is designed in a circular enclosure, and it is very quiet even next to the expressway. The rooms are very large! The bathroom has two sinks and two toilets, with a separate dressing room. The color is indeed dark brown, and there are wood and stone carvings of Buddha statues as wall decorations. Many who prefer modern hotels might find it a bit outdated, but I think this is the connotation of the years. Especially in the morning, opening the curtains to see the lotus pond and the frangipani tree, the sense of immersion is quite good. The breakfast is rich, and the service is also very good. The overall pool area is green, with a retro texture under the sunlight, kind of like a 'California hotel?' The pool requires walking to the outside of the hotel. My friend who accompanied me even said, 'I think staying at the hotel is more comfortable than going out shopping, I want to stay here again next time'.
