Wat Pho is located in the Panakorn district of Bangkok, Thailand, and is a temple built during the Ayutthaya Dynasty in 1793. It is also the largest temple in Thailand. Inside the temple, you can see many Chinese elements, lions, door gods can be seen everywhere, said to be the product of previous maritime trade. Of course, everyone is going for that big Buddha, 46 meters long, 15 meters high, each foot is 5 meters long, engraved with 108 Buddha patterns, almost occupying the entire space of the main hall. The posture of the Buddha lying down is expressing the Buddha's pursuit of Nirvana. His right hand supports his head, his body is lying on his side, leisurely on the altar, accompanied by giant murals depicting the life of the Buddha on the four walls of the hall. In addition to the main hall, there are many big and small Buddhas in the temple. The entire temple has 99 big and small pagodas, so it is also called a pagoda forest, all engraved with different inscriptions.
