Golden Mount Temple (Wat Saket)

The Golden Mount is an amazing child-friendly temple in the heart of Bangkok. Wat Saket holds the title of the highest temple in Bangkok. The landmark can be seen from miles around and once at the temple, the top can be reached by climbing some 318 steps which encircle the chedi. Once upstairs you exit the temple itself. This one is not very impressive, but you do have a great view of the city from up here! By the way, you can also buy an ice-cold can of drink here and a coke tastes really extra good after such a climb! We enjoyed the visit to this temple. It's really a very different experience than at the famous temples! #bangkoktrip #thailand #holidayvacation
