[Overwhelming Sparkle] Wat Paknam

With the end of travel restrictions due to COVID-19, I visited Thailand for the first time in 7 years 🇹🇭 I spent 3 nights and 4 days moving around, focusing on new attractions and trying to release the frustrations of the past few years. I don't remember this Wat Paknam or the other highlight, the Pink Ganesha, being there the last time I traveled to Thailand. After looking into it, I found out that it was a recently opened tourist spot. It was a 15-minute walk from Bang Phai Station on the MTR Blue Line, following the golden Buddha as a landmark. The entrance was hard to find, but we arrived safely. The main attractions were the golden Buddha and the planetarium-like pagoda. The Buddha was so big that it was hard to fit in one's field of vision. It was shining majestically. Inside the pagoda, we had to go up the stairs to the fifth floor, which was a bit tiring. There were exhibits up to the fourth floor, and everyone's goal was the space on the fifth floor. The sparkling emeralds were cool enough to soothe the summer heat. There were several temples nearby, which also created a nice atmosphere. On the way back, I left from Watthakat Station on the Green Line. Even on the way to the station, I had to cross a residential area, but I had the chance to interact with dogs and people, which was a memorable experience. #Thailand#ThailandTrip #777
