Next to Wat Phra Kaew is the City Pillar Shrine, built during the reign of King Rama I after the establishment of Rattanakosin. Later, during the reign of King Rama IV, it was renovated because the wooden pillars were damaged over time. There are four guardian deities protecting the city next to the three City Pillars. Inside the area, there is a place to worship at the City Pillar Shrine replica. The price of flowers, incense, and candles is not expensive. There is parking next to the shrine, but it might be a bit hard to find. #City Pillar
