Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangkharam is nicknamed Wat Pho. It is the temple of King Rama I. The highlight of this temple, aside from its beautiful architecture, is that it is the origin of Thai massage. There is a traditional medicine school and traditional massage school located in the temple grounds. The temple is open to visitors every day from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thais are free to enter, while foreigners pay an entrance fee of 200 baht. We recommend traveling by public transportation.
