Bang Kung Temple, Samut Songkhram

Wat Bang Kung is located in the Bang Kung Camp area. It is a historical site of the heroic deeds of the Mae Klong people in the late Ayutthaya and early Thonburi periods. Thai-Chinese soldiers fought and drove the Burmese army away until they were defeated. There is a replica wall in the temple area. The wonder of the temple is the Bodhi Tree Church, an old church covered with large trees: Bodhi Tree, Banyan Tree, Krai Tree and Krang Tree. It enshrines Luang Pho Nil Mani.
