Tebing Gunung Hawu is a cliff from limestone mountains and is one of the off the beaten track in Bandung. For the adventurous, get a hold of a hammock operator and swing from one between the rocks overlooking the cliff. A tip is to book early for it before going as they can all be taken especially during peak season. The lush green scenery here is well worth your time even if not from a swinging hammock. For sunrise enthusiasts, Tebing Gunung Hawu boasts a fantastic viewpoint to watch the sun wake up for its morning duties. Better yet, you can catch that sunrise from your perch in a hammock, hanging precariously between two towering cliffsides. Has that image gotten your adrenaline running? #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Maribaya Glamping Tent

Waterfalls and hot springs: Maribaya Natural Hot Spring Resort. Well maintained nature resort. As a natural attraction its clean indeed and not so crowded on weekend which is rare in Indonesia. Maybe because the entry ticket price. There is some waterfalls eventhough its not amazing, well maybe it can considered as some river's flow only. Must try the private hot springs, the water temperature not so hot as in Ciater which is perfect to relax. When you go in, there's a food court on the right side with different kind of food stalls. Then we enter a tunnel bridge with beautiful view of the river. There was some souvenir stores in the left/right side of the Plaza. Overall a must try attraction in Lembang. #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Forest Park Conservation Area Tahura Ir. H. Juanda

I'm a regular visitor of Tahura. Tahura is a good place for working out in nature. You need to hike about 5km (from the parking area) to reach the top, and 5km more also to go back (total 10km). A good way to burn some calories, but if you're not a regular-exercising person, the trip will be very exhausting. There're some nice warungs on the top. Visit Warung Ibu Nani for its best Bala-Bala, or the Warung nasi timbel (at the end of the warung line) for its terrific fried fish! Walk 2km more and you will find Curug Omas. Tips: don't take the offers from local people at the Cave to take their flashlights for walking through the cave. You will be charged 20K for one flashlight! Just use your flashlight app on your phone. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Sapulidi Resort Spa & Gallery Bali

Surrounded by slopes of lush greenery and a gorgeous lake, Sapulidi is the best therapeutic place for you to recharge and get some peace and quiet away from the city. The rooms are mostly made of wood, and even each room has a unique name – Putri No’ong, Kembang Desa, Congklak, and many more – all derived from Sundanese culture and folklores. Scenery was nice, like rice paddy field and jungle in every table and seats. There is also small river between houses to houses, provide more relaxing ambience. Price was worth every penny. come here 5 people and spend $100++ Eating like a farmer in the farm, increase your appetite and the price is cheap, not expensive. #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Floating Market Lembang

Floating Market Lembang is basically a food court where the merchants stay in a boat anchored to the pave way. It might be a decent place to rest before going to other spots in Lembang - especially in the middle of weekend traffic. You have to pay IDR 25k to get in (redeem the ticket for a free beverage) and IDR 5k for motorbike parking. To purchase the foods, you have to buy Coin in the Coin Stalls (available every 5-10 meters around the food court area). While visiting the Floating Market, you can walk to another part of the settlement: Kota Mini Lembang and other attractions. #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Bandung City

First time visiting this area. Some facilities and areas are still under construction. Fortunately we got a space for parking and having lunch. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The food tasted standard, almost plain, but the service was fast. The view was average, as we felt that the restaurant is already overcrowded with buildings and visitors. If you don't have enough time to spare for a night of glamping, Lereng Anteng offers you the experience over a single meal. Located at Jalan Baru Laksana 75, Punclut, Ciumbuleuit, guests are invited to dine in transparent plastic tents located on a terraced hill with a view of the surrounding plantation. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

White Crater

Initially I am somewhat sanctioned with this place, but after arriving at this place, the atmosphere where family and place to relax killing tired work directly greet you and family, for coffee and cigarette lovers, this place seemed like a world paradise, cold atmosphere, villages, forests and resorts, very beautiful. Still in the south area of Bandung, this restaurant is located in the natural hill of Gambung, nearby Wisma Santo Aloysius. The heart-shaped bamboo stage adds romance to the Love Garden and Love Lake they have. You might want to consider declaring your feelings to a loved one here. If you are on the way to White Crater, drop by here for a quick visit. #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Gunung Tangkuban Parahu

It's beautiful place and listen to the legend shared by the locals. They will guide you throughout your journey at Tangkuban Perahu, and don't forget to tip them! A must go if you come visit Bandung. We took out our drone to play it but was stop by the ranger and wanted to charge us SGD$100. Tip: Sneak and use your drone somewhere deeper in the forest area to get a quick shot of the place! Risky, but worth it. Visit the cave nearby too. 30mins hike. It's pretty spooky, though. Absolutely thrilling experience to be at the very edge of an active crater. Lots of sellers to sell you junk, best to avoid. But well worth it in my opinion. Not the sort of thing one can do often. If you love nature and want to see the awesomeness of a volcano, must do experience!! #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Bandung City

Nestled among tea fields, beneath a volcano, is Ciater hot springs. Beautiful natural surroundings are accompanied by good staff and clean accommodation, which altogether is great for couples looking for a place to relax, or families wanting to show the children the local wildlife. If you are looking for a soothing therapeutic(?) foot and body massage by and in a hot spring, this is for you. At a cost of less than 5usd, you can get a good massage by some experienced masseurs readily available in the area. If you are looking for a dip in the hot spring or some exciting water activities like rowing as well as horse riding, you will also find this interesting. An array of food courts that serve an array of food for your taste buds. Visit and see. #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

White Crater

tourist spot in a volcanic crater about 50 km south of Bandung, West Java in Indonesia. This vast volcanic crater is filled with turquoise colored water and air filled with sulfur. A must visit natural attraction in Bandung. Make sure to wear jacket or bring umbrella and don’t forget a face mask to protect yourself against the air filled with sulfur. Simply stunning view and do avoid the weekends to avoid the crowds. There is a trek you can take upwards to view. Or if you are feeling lazy, can take a pony ride up. Come and experience the magical splendour and hypnotising ambience of this White Crater. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Maribaya Glamping Tent

The lodge was an excellent get away, we visit on wednesday when it isn't as crowded as the weekends. It is quite a distance away from the town area. The place is very unique, the weather is cool and the scenery is okay. Actually this is a resort that can be used for outbound and there are Sundanese-themed cafes. However, what makes it so unique is that it has a rocky view with a very unique pine forest. Many unique spots for photography. To enjoy all the natural beauty that is served in this place, you only need to pay ticket fee of 15.000 rupiah / person. While the ticket to take pictures at the tree house similar to Kalibiru Yogyakarta nuance, you will be charged 10.000 rupiah / person. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Babakan Siliwangi City Forest

If you’re just looking for simple outdoor attractions nearby the city center, Babakan Siliwangi can be your choice. Located in a 3.8 Hectare urban forest near Bandung Institute of Technology, this conservation area has architectural walking path juxtaposed with tropical tress and other floras. It’s such a pleasant place to roam during your peaceful morning! The trail was proper and it shaded by the tree to keep you away from the sun light. I really enjoy having a short trail here. Expect the crowd during the weekend. Easily to access by the public transport as well. Interesting walkway in a small young forest in the middle of the city. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Bandung City

One of the best things to do in Bandung is shopping. It’s really undeniable that this well-known city was named Paris van Java (Paris of Java) due to its similarity to Paris and European City and widely associated as the center of fashion trend in Indonesia. When it comes to follow up-to-date fashion trend, Bandung is the right destination to roam. If you seek for high-end fashion items, Paris Van Java Mall Bandung is the best attractions nearby as a luxury shopping destination in the city. Stay in the hotel, shop in the mall and have fun in the theme park. There are SO very many shops and its size makes it impossible for you to not find something new. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel
