Run to Sapp

Day6 (August 7) ​​Journey to the stunning pure land of Sapu in eastern Tibet. Tibet is a spiritual land where almost every mountain, river and lake is endowed with divinity. The secret realms hidden deep above the holy plateau are like elves that have fallen into the mortal world, magnificent, holy and unobtrusive. The moment you arrive, the world is no longer noisy and chaotic. There is only the pure sky without a trace of impurities and the sound of prayer flags blowing in the wind in your ears. There are towering snow-capped mountains, beautiful glaciers, clean lakes, and delicious grasslands... Compared with famous mountains such as the Himalayas and the Gangdise Mountains, the Nyainqentanglha Mountains are not that famous, and the Sapu Sacred Mountain is the most low-key among them. Although it has gorgeous scenery, it has always been hidden in the deep boudoir and is a virgin tourist destination with little development. Sapu Mountain is located in the middle of Nyainqentanglha Mountains, with an altitude of 6,956 meters. It is also called "Sapgunlagabu" and is one of the sacred mountains of Bon religion in Tibetan Buddhism. The equilateral triangle snow peak, like an ice pyramid, is a miracle among the snow-capped mountains and is known as the Stairway to Heaven. The total distance from Yangxiu Township to Sap Waihu is 47 kilometers. This year, you can drive to the Waihu parking lot by yourself, compared to last year when you could only take the scenic area shuttle bus to get there, which has greatly improved the experience. Neihu can only be reached on foot or by horseback. Hiking is recommended, and you must go to Neihu to appreciate the stunning beauty of Sap, which will take you a lifetime. Dogs in Tibet are all kind and enthusiastic. It accompanied us all the way. Only in this quiet place far away from the hustle and bustle can you experience the trust between humans and animals. Sapu Mountain is the end point of my trip. Traveling thousands of miles just to have a taste of your beauty. One step, one scene, every angle must be photographed. It’s still early when we come out of Neihu, so we should not miss the beautiful scenery. Sit quietly by the lake, drink a bowl of butter tea, listen to your inner voice, and enjoy the tranquility and freedom of the moment.
