Must Go Insta-Famous Temple In Bali

Gate of Heaven in Bali. Surreal. The beauty of Bali is unfathomable. There are plenty of beautiful temples to visit in Bali but Lempuyang Temple should be on top of your list. My partner and I booked a tour to visit several attractions in Northern Bali. we started off the tour with Lempuyang temple, arrived around 8am where the sun just risen and we could feel the freshness scent of morning dew upon arrival. upon arrival, there was a shuttle bus to transport us to a check point where we have to do a short hike of 10-15 minutes on a slope. the slope is pretty steep and my partner and I decided to pay IDR 5k to a few locals who offered bike transfer service along the journey up. the view at Lempuyang temple was superb. fortunately for us, the queue to take a photo at the gate wasn’t too long. we had to get a queue number from the local crew and there are people who’d take photo for us with the mirror as a reflection (this is how you see all the beautiful reflection of the Heaven’s gate on Instagram). don’t miss this place out when you’re planning your trip. go for sunrise or sunset tour, you don’t regret them! #staycation #summervacation #awesomepic #couplestrip #staycation #sunrise #bali #balitrip #urbanexplorer #naturalwonders
