Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, a paradise resort

For this trip to Bali, we chose Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, located in the Kedewatan area of Ubud. The hotel is located at Jalan Kedewatan, Kedewatan, Ubud, Indonesia. The location is very quiet and private, surrounded by lush green trees and the famous Ayung River. It takes about an hour to get here from the airport by taxi, which is quite convenient. Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is in a prime location. 🌿 The hotel's overall decor is traditional Balinese style, which blends well with the surrounding natural environment. The facilities here are very complete, with a children's room, gym, yoga room, and two swimming pools (outdoor and in the spa). The front desk was very welcoming when we checked in. Check-in and check-out were both done in the room, which was very thoughtful and convenient. 🤗 The moment I entered the room, I felt an incredible sense of peace and comfort. The room was spacious and bright, with modern decor. The bed was very large and just the right firmness. Lying on it was a lifesaver after a long day. The room was also well-equipped, with a minibar, coffee machine, free high-speed Wi-Fi, etc. The bathroom was also luxuriously designed, with a separate shower and bathtub. Taking a bath was a great way to relieve stress. 💆‍♀️ The hotel's dining service was also top-notch. Almost all room types include breakfast, which is varied and delicious. We had dinner at Kubu Restaurant, which is said to be Michelin-starred, and it was truly worth the trip! When the restaurant staff heard that I liked mangosteen, they even sent some to my room. There are also many recommended restaurants nearby, such as Balinese Home Cooking, Room 4 Dessert, and Honey & Smoke, which are all good choices. We also tried the rafting project near the hotel, which ended right at the hotel entrance, which was very convenient. There are also rice field walks and yoga classes every morning, where you can exercise while enjoying the beautiful scenery, which is very relaxing. Of course, there are always some shortcomings. Although this hotel is almost perfect, sometimes the activities you want to book (such as river view yoga) are not successful due to the number of people or bad weather, which is a bit of a pity. In addition, some of the activities offered by the hotel are subject to additional charges, so be sure to confirm before booking. In short, Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, really gave me an unforgettable Bali vacation. We are already planning to come back again. We really love it here. ❤️
