Penida Island Snorkeling Guide

🤿Features: I have no experience with snorkeling. The first time I came to Penida Island, I signed up for a one-day tour, where a local took us to take a speedboat to experience snorkeling and drive around several famous attractions on the island. 🚤Transportation: Penida Island is more than an hour by boat from the mainland, and we arrived on the island at around 9:00 am. After finding a local guide, the first stop was snorkeling. After changing into swimsuits and putting on flippers, we boarded a speedboat 🚤 that could seat more than a dozen people. Snorkeling masks 🤿 were distributed on the boat, and the basic usage was explained in English (no snorkeling knowledge was taught, probably assuming that everyone knew the basic skills of snorkeling). The trip took about 2 hours, and there were 3 snorkeling spots in total. There were no fish at the first snorkeling spot. 🫵Summary tips: I was a little scared the first time, so I prepared myself mentally before going down. At the second spot, I mustered up the courage to go into the water. I held onto the rope on the boat the whole time, afraid of being washed away by the current. Fortunately, there were no big waves that day. After letting go of the rope, I could enjoy the real fun of snorkeling. When I went underwater and saw the fish, I was amazed by the wonderland! The bright colors of the fish and the clear, jelly-like water were a wonderland I had never seen before! My first snorkeling experience happened and was completed just like that.
